- We are receiving $5,000 FTMC Grant again this year
- Worked with Monroeville Teacher’s Association to create Catastrophic Leave program
- Changing Policy services from NEOLA to Pepple & Waggoner
- Changing Physical Education requirement

- Homecoming is October 9th and the Citizens for Monroeville Schools will have a float

APPROVED:

- Membership between the Monroeville Board of Education and WGTE Public Media for comprehensive district membership in the amount of $584.10
- Memo of Understanding for Catastrophic Leave
- One year agreement between the Monroeville Board of Education and Suburban Processing for the calibration and fall start up for all pneumatic controls for Monroeville Schools in the amount of $3,229
- Pepple & Waggoner for policy service
- Building use form from Drew Karnehm for Sunday open gym for basketball (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
- Rescind policy 5460.01 (Physical Education requirement)
- Reinstate physical education for all sophomores, beginning with this year’s (09-10) freshman
- Approve the building use form for Sunday use from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for 5th & 6th grade volleyball practice
- Varsity Cheerleaders use of the elementary gym on November 1st and 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (These dates are on a Sunday)

DISCUSSION:
- Reviewing policy of building being open on Sundays.
- Drop $250,000 levy immediately upon passage of 1.5% Earned Income Tax and let $291,000 expire when it comes due.
- Still working with Village Lawyer over Clark Park Lease. When park is open, that is when we will sign lease.
- Clark Park has $50,000 and equipment donation waiting to be released when there is $50,000 match. They are still $30,000 short of $50,000 match.
