REGULAR MEETING

Thanks were given to the volunteers who assisted in the demolition of the house on West Street: Chris Gies, Glenn Opper, Tom Scheid, Andy Dahm, Greg Schafer, Bob Sitterly, Abe Helmstetter, Shane Sattler, Kenny Brooks, Mike Gfell, Denny Hauler, Bob Schafer, and Jerry Schafer; John Bores of Underground Utilities, Greg Schafer, and Lake Erie Construction for their donation of equipment and fuel.

Appropriation modifications
Contract with Northpoint ESC for shared costs for F/Y 2010
Accept the Academic Booster account. This account will be governed by the Treasurer of Monroeville Local Schools. Total funds deposited with Treasurer is $2,965.35.
Accept the $200 donation from the Knights of Columbus for the technology fund
Contract between the Monroeville Board of Education and the Lorain County ESC. (Speech/Language Supervisory services; Audiological services and Parent Mentor services)
Contract between the Monroeville Board of Education and Coca-Cola Corporation for a period of five years
Student voluntary accident & sickness insurance for the 2009-2010 school year

EMPLOYMENT:

Jennifer Evans as a substitute teacher
Resignation of Teresa Miller as an aide. Effective June 2009.
Attached list of teacher contracts
Dennis Girton as Mentor in the amount of $1,220.40 to be paid equally over five pays at the rate of $244.08 per pay
Zac Reer for a one year contract as Technology Coordinator

DISCUSSION:

Canceling the Regular Meeting on May 25 and planning a Special Meeting on May 18 at 7:30 in the Eby Room
