SPECIAL MEETING

PRESENT WERE: Melodie Adelman, Mike Helmstetter, Sandra Lonz, Robin Reed, Steve Reer

HEARING OF THE PUBLIC:

Abe Helmstetter presented information on the deterioration of the fence at the baseball diamond. The winning bid for the project is $6,876.94 and the Athletic Booster is donating $1,775 and it was asked of the district to match the donation of the Athletic Boosters.
The following landscapers presented their proposals for the upcoming landscaping project: Barnes Nursery, Firelands Lawn & Landscape, Miller Landscape, Jarretts

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Moved by Lonz, seconded by Reed to adjourn to executive session for the consideration of the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee, official or student.
Board adjourned to executive session at 8:20 pm and returned to open session at 8:50 pm.

Agreement between the Monroeville Board of Education and the Northern Ohio Educational Computer Association (NOECA) for the provision of Internet Access service
Inter-District Open Enrollment policy
Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor

EMPLOYMENT

Tammie Smith as ASP Clerk (St. Joseph). Beginning March 8, 2010 and to be paid out of auxiliary funds. (Step 0)
Jennifer Sieger as Saturday School teacher, as needed, at the rate of $22 per hour
Kelly Poths as Saturday School teacher, as needed, at the rate of $22 per hour
Accept with regret the retirement of Steve Ringholz as teacher, coach and groundskeeper effective May 31, 2010
Extend the contracts of David Stubblebine, Superintendent, William Butler, Elementary Principal, Jim Kaczor, High School Principal, Molly Porter, Dean of Students/Spec. Ed. Supervisor/Work Study Coordinator and Elise Gray, Treasurer through the school year of 2013-2014.
Unpaid leave for Tom Phillips beginning March 23, 2010 and running to the end of the 2010-2011 school year
Cecilia Adams as substitute teacher.
Dan Periat as Head Football Coach (Step 9)
Ten (10) extended days for Zac Reer
